Going with the wind by travelling the Indian Ocean at the moment, giving the earth something back with volunteering in marine conservation, find out what to do with the rest of my life

ABOUT ME

I love travelling and a world around trip was always my dream. So I quit my job 2011, sold everything and started my trip with volunteering in the Seychelles for 6 month and Mauritius for one month. Later I fell in love with my Dutch boyfriend in Cape Town. And now I'm living in Holland and speek fluently Dutch and seek a job back in marketing again of something else where I can use one of my 6 languages to save money to travel again :-).

PHILOSOPHY

Life your dream and don't dream your life. Try to life in the now, in the moment as much as possible. Stay myself and respect myself.

At the moment I don't have an address to offer someone host. So I hope I get many good experience, that I can give it all back as soon as I settle down again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: As I worked for Universal Pictures I love all kind of movies, except horror
Music: charts, house, for going out electronic music. Favorite bands are Snow Patrol, Coldplay
Books: Bestsellers, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, spiritual books which let me think like Eckhardt Tolle live in the now, Paulo Coelho Alchimist, Celestines Prophecy etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- In Mauritius I could be part of a 3 days catamaran research trip about sperm whales. I could snorkel with two of them. Which was breathtaking. Plus to see how a research time is seeking them with a hydrophone and I could hear them speaking underwater.
- Seychelles: Seeing and helping 25 hawksbill turtles nesting and after 50 days helping their hatchlings
