About Me

Italian, actually student of Neuroscience and Neuroengineering at EPFL, Lausanne.

I'm an enthusiastic, life-loving and passionated explorer of cultures, lifestyles and societies.
Curiosity and passion are literally my driving force, my fuel, I'm always seeking for new answers, new experiences, and, even more important for me, new questions.

I am also attracted by the deepness of human mind, and I never loose the occasion to learn something new from every person I meet, from every story I hear, from every novel I read.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love sharing and exchanging experiences, food, stories and ideas with people. I love travelling; but not as a tourist, I want to feel part of the culture and country in which I am. I am convinced that the only way to discover a country is talking and sharing experience with native people.
Of course I'm in love with Italy, my home country, and I want to share the best of it with everyone is willing to fall in love with Italy and be my love rival.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all genres, I'm very open-minded in that (and I would say in general). I play bass guitar, my first favorite band has been Green Day, my first favorite song Corazon Espinado of Santana, my first favorite genre Classic/Hard Rock.
Now I am more in a electro, hip hop and jazz phase.

I am a book-eater. I like from philosophical essays to novels.
Just some of my favorite books:

-Castelli di Rabbia, A.Baricco
-Fight Club, C.Palahniuk
-The Stand, S.King
-Thus spoke Zarathustra, F.Nietzsche
-Le petit prince, A. de saint-Exupéry
-1984, G.Orwell
-Siddharta, H.Hesse
-Uno, nessuno, centomila, L.Pirandello

Some movies I like: (I love all Christopher Nolan's movies)
-The prestige
-Memento
-Pulp fiction
-Melanconia
-Grand Hotel Budapest
-Into the wild
-Seven
-Shutter Island
-Transcendence

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one thing, I'll keep many others to share personally in front of a glass of wine.

Done:
-Swimming with sharks, dolphins and turtles on the barrier reef
-USA coast-to-coast by caravan
-Mongol Rally -> Crazy rally from Italy to Mongolia
