Hi! We are Asli and Michele. We met each other 2 years ago on a tropical island in Thailand and we've been exploring the world since then. Asli is a dual American/Turkish citizen and Michele is from Italy. We bring the flavor of the Mediterranean with us :)

We both are yoga practitioners and try to pursue a minimalist lifestyle. Our goal is to see as much as possible in the world and leave as little foot print as possible behind us while doing that.

Before starting to travel in 2013, Asli has occupied a desk at a shiny advertising company in a high rise in New York. When she woke up from the "dream" following a few unexpected events, she sold everything and dedicated herself to exploring the world and writing about the beauties of our planet.

Michele was born in Genova and spent all his life in the countryside of Milano. A former IT technician in a corporation, one day he realized that life had a lot more to offer than pizza and decided to search for happiness outside of his comfort zone. Just like Asli, he sold everything and left Italy.

Then in 2016, their paths crossed and they decided to play this life game together!

There's nothing better than getting in touch with a local to get to know the culture (and the cuisine!) of the place. It's not just about a couch but a mutual exchange of energy.

Movies: Too many to list them! We have recently been watching a lot of documentaries especially on the topics of traveling, eco sustainable life, and minimalism. Of course Netflix is our best buddy. We also love Woody Allen and Wes Anderson movies, comedies, socio political movies and science fiction.

Books: Paulo Coelho, Eckhart Tolle, as well as other personal growth, and spirituality books

Trekking among the volcanos in Java and the paddies in Bali.
Slept in a native village in Laos' forest.
Hiked Angel's Landing in Zion National Park, Utah.
Spent close to a year in India! I think we can get a Nobel price for this :P
Stayed with shamans in the Amazon forest
