About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Creating a friendlier happier world by connecting with amazing, interesting people around the world. On-going: run a business with my partner Tommy Transit (www.TommyTransit.com) and learning the fine art of being a digital nomad.
ABOUT ME
Kind, patient, likes a good conversation. Easy to get along with. Very respectful of other people's spaces.
I share my home in the summertime (Airbnb and Couchsurers). I love shared living and am writing a series on roommating called The Ultimate Roommate Guide (www.UltimateRoommateGuide.com) and the first book is on Amazon.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe we are here to light up the world with our creativity, our love and by caring for this beautiful planet. I tend to see the best in people, but know boundaries and will not engage with a lot of drama and negativity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Love to make myself useful. Excellent cook including raw un-cooking.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed in India, Vietnam and Hawaii, plus the many, many times I've been a guest at friend's homes. In the summer I open my home up to travellers as an Airbnb host with an occasional Couchsurfing guest. It allows me to meet amazing people from all over the world.
Interests
I call myself a Renaissance Gal as I love to put my hand to so many different things. I'm an author, communications writer and book coach, a graphic designer and filmmaker. As a book coach I love helping others get their dream of writing a book accomplished. Currently running a workshop and motivational talk business with my partner - Tommy Transit - based on a book we wrote together.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love eclectic, intelligent stories whether in books or film. I'm not into violence or horror. I love world music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I danced in a native ceremony that lasted 4 days - no food, no water. It was amazing. I lived in a farmhouse in Ibiza back in the hippie days. It cost $14 a month and had no running water or toilet - not even an outhouse, you went behind the haystack. I paddled in the Gulf Islands on Christmas Day with the sun turning the cliffsides orange.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a great cook. I love language and the play of words. I'm a poet and an artist. I am very skilled with my hands and used to build props for the theatre and film.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great stories. I love to cook for a group of people. We always leave a place as clean or cleaner than we found it. Happy to take hosts out for a meal as well.
