PHILOSOPHY

The actual state of our knowledge is always provisional and ... there must be, beyond what is actually known, immense new regions to discover

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been surfing a lot, hosting whenever I can.

For me couchsurfing was a door to discover the amazing european continent. I am grateful that it exists.I don't use your place as free hostel, So I would cook and clean, keep myself tidy and I do understand that my host does have a life. I do not seek more than what is offered.

I met great friends here, I got to know amazing people, with new ideas, took me sometimes out of my comfort zone, therefore I grew a lot

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My expiriences were very positive, I have learned a lot, trained my german, lived like a local. Making friends instead of travelling alone.

With CS I learn how to trust, hike mountains barefoot, did dumpster diving, rode bikes, kayaked, walk dogs, play with kids, ate wild animals, saw amazing pieces of spanish art, discovered bla bla car, geocaching, heard great concerts, explored canyons, survived a knife assault, had amazing and remarkable conversations about lands in the north and explorers, saw snails as pets , learned about go, deliver newspapers, had a new years celebration, saw fjords, tried bill Clinton's hotdog, saw my first polar aurora, learned about farming, went to no men's land, between european and american tectonic plates, visit bryggen (UNESCO world heritage).

Growing up as a human being and citizen of this world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parachute jumping from an airplane during the sunset. Free falling at 200km/h, with killing view of an orange sky.

Attending two TED conferences. (one dream of mine is to lecture on TED)

I have seen some polar auroras , experienced the polar night and lived a month in the northernmost city and settlement in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to think that, even a pointless conversation can aggregate a lot.
My life style is simple, Maybe we can discover together more about your or mine city/place, I'm curious to get to know places and the history behind them.

I won't bring you my truths (that would not be very scientific), maybe some opinions but in my couchsurfing experiences I learn that trying a new way of thinking or doing things has proved to be liberating.

I can also teach Portuguese, some recipes, help with math, physics, help you with problems in computers or consumer eletronic devices (tablet/phone).

I can teach you how to juggle. Explain some stuff about space, etc

What I want to Learn, basically everything, specially history of your region, some local expressions and a curious skill if you will.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer good company, for cooking, practicing sports, for exploring the city
app and tech stuff recommendations. My travelling experiences, my life facts

i'll think about more items

add with dust so I understand that you really cared about reading it. appreciate
