Hi,
I'm a young costume designer who was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Two of my best girlfriends (Gaby and Cheylene) and I are going on a road trip from here to Palm Springs for a sweet little vacation this month. We're pulling this off on a budget, so we're hoping some nice folks can put us up for a night on the way there and again on our way home. Some of us have never been to California, so we're really excited to get to explore a bit and take in all the gorgeous scenery.

I'm relatively new to CouchSurfing. I was introduced to this community about 3 years ago when I was going to the University of Victoria. I lived in a student townhouse on campus for a year, and one of my 3 room mates convinced us all to become hosts. She had spent the year prior travelling the world and couch surfing across four continents (Iceland, UK, Europe, Southern Asia), and in our 9 months together we got to meet and host 3 nice groups of travellers.

I'm really excited to finally get to try this out myself!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I spent 6 weeks travelling through Europe by myself. I got to see Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Italy all for the first time.

I'm also a retired synchronised swimmer. I used to compete at a national level until i nearly finished my degree a couple years ago.
