About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find friends, work and housing in the bay area. I would also like to start making plans for Oktoberfest next year and a possible stint in Shanghai and/or Shingle next summer.
ABOUT ME
I'm going through a transitional period. I'm an East Bay native and I lived in Santa Cruz for a few years as well. I'm a recently divorced, former stay-at-home mom. I spent the last 7 years in a very controlled environment, my ex was a homebody who made sure I was a homebody too. I feel as if I haven't really lived. I've never been further north than Medford, OR and I've never been further East than Elko, NV. I'm half Korean so I've been to Seoul, Busan, Incheon, and Solak near the DMZ. I'm trying my best to make up for lost time. There are so many places I haven't seen. There's so much life I've missed out on. I'm just trying to get back on my feet. I'm determined to live the life that has been defered by an unfortunate situation. My daughter will not be travelling with me because of school. My cat is my familiar and constant companion, ever since she found me 8 years ago.
Interests
Everything and anything. Seriously, from trashy TV to high art, you name it, I'm curious about it. I am a very big fan of music, film, and the outdoors. I'm working on getting some decent camping/backpacking gear. I have a fairly basic folk acoustic guitar with an amazing case.

Music, Movies, and Books
Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog, The Mating Game by Bitter:Sweet, and Catch-22 by Joseph Helper are probably my favorite movie, album, and boom respectively.
Teach, Learn, Share
Inspiration, advice, help in general, friendship. I can help with your English and teach you to knit. I'm not the best cook but I can follow a recipe and I love sharing meals with people. What's mine is yours. I'm also a former homemaker so I have no problem cleaning house and caring for children and animals. I am willing to help in any way necessary because you're opening your life and home to me. Attitude of gratitude is how I approach everything.
