I'm a 32 YO female that lives in Houston, TX. I work as an engineer in the oil & gas industry. My job requires that I work 28 days straight, however I also get 28 days off which gives me lots of flexibility. I love traveling and look forward to meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's always better to visit a new place with locals. They know all the gems, know what (and how) to order food, and you get an authentic experience instead of the same old touristy stuff. I also love to learn how the people live first hand versus what is told on tours or shown in the news.

Interests

I love to try new things to eat. The most exotic items I've ever tried was a fried scorpian and horse. Both items were better than I originally thought they would be.

I like R&B and hip hop, but with my work and travel schedule I don't really stay up to date on the latest music.
I can always watch a Rom Com, but love suspense movies as well.
I can read anything from historical to fiction to self-motivation books.
