I'm keen to explore the joys, differences & freedoms of this planet :)
I dance alot mostly in studios in african contemporary, contemp & contact improvisation. I surf and in the art & design world.

I'm seen as easygoing, open,curious, cheerful, fun & independent girl from cape town south africa who loves to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet people and share experiences, speak about our differences and thats' why I'm on cs. In my opinion, to discover a country is also to discover its citizens !
Being able to explore a place from the lens of a local an dhopping onto couchsurfing opens up the adventure and allows me to share something about my own country and gain a perspective. .I Love the openness and spontaneity of the CS and happy to add to the pool!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting interesting, adventurous, warm open people whether hanging or hosting has been super and given so much faith in us humans. Fun times !

I believe this community is literally changing the world, because it brings together people that would otherwise never meet.

It has changed the way I see the world, it has made me more open, more tolerant, more outgoing. And I want to keep growing in this way.

A few things I can't live without are dance of all forms.
I love dance, in studios or club floors. I do african contemporary, contact improv and eurythmy. Its' taken me on a new journey of the body, spaces and places .

chasing surfs up the coast my favorite is where the wildlife and birds are teeming. music. meditation.

Good food. good rissotto... I've explored many diets in macrobiotics, vedic and raw-food diets and keep exploring.
P.s. I can make a great crepe in the morning. !

Them favourite directors & movies include Tim burton, Martin Scorsese, with anything from Michel Gondry.

Lost in translation, Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind... Pulp fiction, garden state,...

TED talks and other interesting youtube videos and on some days simply laughing out loud at animals doing funny things ( guilty pleasure).

Music all depends on the time & mood.. Some of my favourite music is ambient, electronic, jazz, 90s hip hop. I have dj' for parties and mostly do a mixed bag as a mood or story to follow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfed in the S.A. Champs & 6-8 ft Jeffereys Bay.

Swam with dolphins and seen outrageously beautifull skies giving out great light displays.

Full moon Night swimming with a group of friends in the nudey in a shimmering reflective phosphorescent river glitterscope in the middle of a valley.

Danced in a show with a great dancer who is also deaf . I learnt some sign language, new ways of relating and a lot of the choreography came from there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can stay up all night talking about world affairs. -That can be quite annoying, so tell me when to shut it up.

I'm also good at cooking French crepes and I would love to share some with you or have a good beer on me !
