Always discovering new places, new faces, and new ways to get rewarding experiences out of couch surfing. Just recently moved to DC area after one year in London where I studied my master's and immersed in life across the pond (aka pints, peer-reviewed articles and lectures). Hoping to discover the best of this area by getting outside, dancing, checking out local events, markets, eating good food and getting my hands dirty in a garden or farm

Constantly on the lookout for good hikes (sub snowboarding in winter), free/social yoga classes, Latin bars, Colombian restaurants, tropical fruit, impromptu getaways, jam sessions, intriguing talks and anything else you can pitch to me

I am here to get the most out of each uncovered place. more than a friendly smile at a reception desk of a hotel. a real home with a real family, couple, or solito with a story. there is no place as well known as those you know with a local .. and that's the truth no matter where you may find yourself. show me the best your spot in the world has to offer. beyond what I could find myself. beyond the experience and day I could plan for myself. take a peak at how life is played over the fence.
