I'm a nurse in a medical ICU in DC, and in grad school at UVA. I use my flexible schedule to travel out of the country every month. I'm very laid back, love spontaneous activities and meeting new people.

In the past six months I've backpacked by myself through Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, a Euro trip (England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy), Ireland, Portugal, and Indonesia. I bungy jumped five times in three days, base jumped off the Auckland Sky Tower, went canyon swinging, went scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, and luge racing down the side of a mountain.

Things I can't do without: coffee, netflix, my running shoes, a notebook to jot my thoughts down, books, music

As much as I love to meet fellow backpackers, I love the experience of meeting locals.
