About Me

I was born in Burbank, CA and my immediate family and I moved to Arizona when I was 7--growing up, we moved around a lot so I went to 6 different schools (not including college)--so adaptation was my middle name.

Now I'm an Exercise & Wellness major at Arizona State University and am a Habilitation and Respite Provider for kiddos with autism! I love my job and dream of opening up a practice for occupational therapy and animal assisted therapy (so yes that means cute kids, dogs, and horses). I graduate in May 2018 and am heading to Boston mid-May because I dream of living in the city so hopefully I am able to land a nice job and continue my life there.

Some of my hobbies involve cooking or baking, playing video games (I BO2 zombies), and playing the piano. I have a huge fascination of space and science--I love learning about the mysteries of the universe and enjoy stargazing when I can.

I believe a huge part of growth and learning comes from others experiences and ideas. The idea of couchsurfing offers that and I'm all for it. I'm currently in Phoenix and live with 3 other roommates, so unfortunately I'm unable to accept guests (we don't currently have a couch either.. such a bummer).

Anyway, thank you for reading. Hope to hear from you soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is short--I'm enthusiastic that through travel and couchsurfing, I will be able to meet people I never would have met, learn things I would have never learned, explore, and give back to the community, whilst spreading good vibes and also receiving good vibes.

PS I am heading to Boston soon, so I will definitely be in need of a dope tour guide!

Music, Movies, and Books

modern R&B, lots of mainstream stuff here and there--and no scary movies :')

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I raised awareness for bullying for 3 years. It is something I'm extremely passionate about and I don't tolerate any hate or bullying or discrimination. I started in high school when I became a peer trainer in the Anti-Defamation League. There, we visited freshman classes once a month to remind them about the six pillars of character and bullying, its consequences and how to prevent it. The best part about it was having some students reach out to me during and after I taught lessons. They opened up to me about their experiences and they confided in me. Special relationships stemmed from my extraordinary experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've played the piano since I was a kid, so I would be willing to play/teach you a few songs to anyone. I also love cooking--spaghetti, chicken alfredo, all pastas, and soups.
