I am 20 years old and I am currently studying European Studies in Passau.

Last year I was living in Paris as an au pair which was such a great experience! I also travelled a little bit around Europe but there is so much left to discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I explore a city, I am always much more interested in finding hidden places and meeting locals there than in seeing only typical tourist attractions.

I am very interested in discovering new cultures and meeting new people. I had such a great time on my first couchsurfing trip to Aix-en-Provence that I want to continue it and host some people at my place.

Interests

I like sport, I did gymnastics for 13 years and also worked as a trainer for 4 years. I also like being outside, whether it means spending time in nature or walking through a city. I love to wander around for hours without any plan or destination, just deciding on the next corner where my way will continue.

I also like festivals,camping, going out, listening to poetry slams,photography, discovering street art, learning languages..

I am a really active person, always trying to make the world a little bit better. I am volunteering for Plan International, Unicef and some organisations focusing on help for refugees. Teaching German to Syrians was one of my best experiences because those teenagers tought me so much about life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Milky Chance, Mumford and Sons, Noah and the Whale, Old man canyon, the Kooks, Phoenix, Kraftklub... and electro, especially deep house, one of my favorite DJs is the Avener

Movies: I nearly like all genres except horror films

Books: at the moment I try to read some classical french literature to learn more about the culture and history of France
