About Me

Hello! I'm Mich, I'm travelling around India solo from the 12th Dec to 6th Jan starting in Delhi and finishing down south. I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne was comfortable but too comfortable, I needed to push myself out of my comfort zone and grow. So after my graduation last December, I packed up life as I knew it and moved to Hong Kong. Hong Kong was everything Melbourne was not. The beginning was challenging to say the least, but more than anything this has been the most exciting and enriching decision of my life. I plan to continue to challenge myself and make the most of everyday! (And especially on this trip)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do not believe in being a tourist but being a traveller. I find pleasure not in 5star hotels but in meeting beautiful people and hearing their story. I believe couch surfing gives me the ability to truely experience a country, its culture and lifestyle through someone else's shoes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most magical moments whilst travelling was seeing the moon rise in the Atacama dessert of Bolivia. We were in the natural hot springs where it was 39 degrees in the water and -29 outside the water, I was relaxing in the falls of the water with some new friends I'd made in Bolivia when unexpectedly we saw the moon slowly creep up from the horizon. I'd never even heard of a moon rise before so it was absolutely incredible :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn and understand everyone's story and see life through someone else's eyes. I like to live life like an open book and everyone I meet is a co-author in my story.
