About Me

My name is Michelle Nichols. In a nutshell I absolutely adore animals, travelling and helping people. I've recently finished my high school education and am looking to wander through the world searching for amazing and beautiful things as well as wonderful people to become friends with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing as I'm excited to travel the world, meet new people, see amazing places and to help others experience the same. I understand I could stay in a hotel and be the epitome of a tourist but I would love to be able to stay with a local and have them point me in the right direction of what the core of the place I've traveled to is.

Interests

I absolutely love baking anything and everything for any occasion. I also have a strong interest in photography - especially of nature, beautiful landmarks and people being their beautiful selves. I also really enjoy helping people who need it and have done that through Interact, Rotaract and Rotary. I've participated in many projects, from raising money for wheelchairs for people with disabilities, to giving blood, participating in 40 hour famine from 2010 to present, visiting Robina hospital for the past two years on Easter and Christmas to hand out chocolates, activity pages and small gifts as well as to spend time with those who have no others. There are many others but I'll stop there haha. I also absolutely adore animals and have had a wild amount over my lifetime and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
