About Me
Hallo! I am a food and culture writer currently residing and working full-time in New York. By day, I work my dream job writing bad jokes and consuming too much hot sauce, by night and weekend, I try my best to engage in all manner of unscholastic activity, including skateboarding, hiking, jogging, cooking, and biking. I guess I gotta balance out the ramen and BBQ somehow! I love meeting new people, and that magical moment of human interaction when the most inane of conversation topics can turn a stranger into a lifelong friend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel on a whim -- sans (too much) planning and Trip Advisor guiding points, and Couchsurfing builds a native tour guide into the obviously practical benefit of a place to stay... Why would I NOT be on couchsurfing?!
Interests
Food! For, you know, research. Also because it's delicious. I also love folk, funk, and electronic music. I'm generally a sucker for live entertainment of all sorts.
