I'm a very outdoorsy girl that loves hiking in the woods and reading fantasy novels. I'm currently attending Colorado State University and hope to earn a bachelors degree in civil engineering within the next four years (I just finished my first year). In my free time (when I'm not in the forest and/or reading) I like to draw, and I enjoy watching movies every now and then. I'm a total nerd and thoroughly enjoy chatting with fellow geeks. (:

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy metal music; a few of my favorite bands would be Omnium Gatherum, Ensiferum, Insomnium, Korpiklaani, and Dark Tranquility, to name a few. I also love Audiomachine and Two Steps From Hell. (:

As for movies, my all-time favorite would have to be the Lord of the Rings trilogy. There are many other fantasy and SciFi movies/TV show series that I like as well.

There are too many awesome books to list here! Of course, I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Harry Potter series is fantastic as well. Pretty much anything fantasy I'll read and will very likely enjoy :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always learning(: I like to learn about different cultures (I particularly love local legends and folklore!)
I know quite a few of the local plants here in the Rocky Mountains (their names and a few of their uses) which I would gladly share.
I also know some origami, which is fun to teach. (:
