Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything you can dance to! Great funky disco beats and folk music and electronic and soft melodic piano ballads. Some musicians I like: The Head and the Heart, Regina Spektor, The Oh Hellos, Kishi Bashi, Judah and the Lion, Sylvan Esso, Animal Collective, Patrick Watson, Ben Howard, Vacationer, George Ezra, Francoise Hardy, Purity Ring, Chris Murray, the Slackers, Fleet Foxes, Capital Cities, Little Joy, Breathe Owl Breathe, Wild Child, Two Door Cinema Club and Vampire Weekend.
I enjoy a wide variety of novels from science fiction to fantasy to autobiographies and self help books.
Favorite film: Big Fish. Always down to watch a good documentary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept under the stars for 3 straight months in a sleeping bag in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. (While working as a counselor for a outdoor summer camp for children.)
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're at all interested in wildlife or knowing what a tree, plant, bird or mushroom is called and fun ways to forage and survive in the wild, I'm your gal!
If you come stay with me in Santa Cruz and you're looking for something to do, expect a beautiful hike in the woods and a small lesson on what the organisms of the redwood forest are about. I also would love to share music, jamming together if you have a guitar and singing. I always love to learn new perspectives of the world and listening to stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Positive, loving vibes and silly jokes! Interesting dance moves. Absolute gratitude and fun doodles and drawings.
