Overview
About Me
We are a traveling couple in our twenties. We both have recently completed our active duty service for the US Navy where I worked as a welder and metal fabricator and he worked as an electronics tech, but we still thirst to see the world. I grew up in a family that always kept our mind and body busy. I spent a lot of my time helping build homes, garages, furniture, gardens, and landscapes. We also loved exploring the land and water around us, reading, learning, and loving our fur babies. We love all things furry and feathered!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My fiancé and I have found ourselves in a sweet spot where we have no ties to bind us, so we are off to spread our wings and explore the world! Since we are traveling long-term we very much crave that homey feeling and structure staying in a home provides. From the simple things- like getting up and making our coffee and enjoying our breakfast together, to a consistent place to manage our health and fitness through home-cooked meals and in-home & outdoor workouts and having a cozy spot to wind down and snuggle on the couch to a movie or a book. We enjoy the creature comforts of home and long for the warmth, stability, peace, and the love of furry a hotel simply cannot provide.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love so many kinds of music, movies, and books I can't choose any favorites!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Selling everything I own, rejecting the "American dream" (a steady 9a-5p career, a husband, a house, some land, 2.5 kids, a white picket fence, and a lifetime of living up to everyone's expectations), letting go of all things familiar- to become a traveler/nomad and live out my wildest dreams of world exploration with no end date in mind!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have learned so many things I never imagined and want to know so much more still. I want to share and learn as much as I can until my last breath! Time is so limited.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experiences, my ideas, my compassion, and curiosity. A little love never hurt anyone, and everyone could do with a little more kindness and understanding, so we can all help one another live a better life.
