During my travels, I've realized that you can meet great people everywhere. With that said, I try to take advantage of the social aspect of traveling. I never want to miss out on a great conversation or spontaneous adventure.

I believe that one can be a critical thinker and have eye opening discussions without invalidating/ minimizing the lifestyle of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I WWOOF'D (World Wide organization of Organic Farms)and did workaway in Norway which is kind of like couchsrfing except for a long time.

UPDATE 04/2017
I have couchsurfed in Paris, Stockholm, Vienna, and Berlin. I have not been able to host people since I was in university and now live with my host family. (I am an au pair)

Interests

I have started reading more articles, essays and books about race, gender, sexuality, class, and philosophy. I like to make zines and take photos on a an old analog camera. Lately, I have been interested in starting dance courses and painting. I like to hike and jog. I am a concert person. I love the atmosphere of a small 5 dollar show and the loud rustle in the streets during smoke breaks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really into local and small bands. I like movies like Welcome to the Dollhouse, Blue is the Warmest Color, The Science of Sleep, Laurence Anways, They Live, Eraserhead idk what u would say. Some of my favorite writers are bell hooks, Carson McCullers, Sophocles, and Kurt Vonnegut. Surf Curse, Molly Nilsson, TRUST, blood orange, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Metronomy, Spice Girls, Rihanna, Nina Simone, Deafheaven, Explosions in the sky, Why?, Local Natives, Lemaitre, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs or any thing that falls between bedroom pop and electronique.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer to teach you how to make tiny zines, make you some veggie burritos, lots of good conversation in English, Spanish, German and some Italian.
