Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting people so I'm all about getting in touch, I ask, host and surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couching before I even found out about the concept of couchsurfing. I like meeting people and I always feel that you get to know people and a country by sharing a meal with them, spending a day in their shoes. There is so much to learn and appreciate in each other.

Interests

diving, travelling, reading , eating & drinking - I like trying out new food, new things. I travel with my taste buds. Talking meeting new people. Dancing. Laughing, blogging about my adventures. Adventure sports.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw a fish on my qualifying dive. When I absailed a 204m Long waterfall, being so close to something so strong was a thrill. Learning to surf in coffee Bay.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being from KZN I was raised on the principle of Ubuntu; you are a person because of other people, act before you think and when you act think of the impact on your fellow man.

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has said "Ubuntu is very difficult to render into a Western language…It is to say. 'My humanity is caught up, is inextricably bound up, in what is yours'

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, South Korea, Swaziland, Zimbabwe

Countries I’ve Lived In
