ABOUT ME

I tend to: get caught up in conversations; drink too much coffee/tea; procrastinate; be sarcastic; have great times with friends; spend too much time cooking; learn random facts from people all the time!

I'm very easy going and get along with everyone I meet. I came over to the UK to do my Masters and got really lucky getting a job right out of it. After two years there, my visa ran out so I had to go back to Canada for a few months while I plotted my way back. And that's how I ended up doing another Masters, but this time in Marketing. Now I work at an EdTech company that gives me the freedom of mostly working where I want - ideal for traveling! I moved up to York from London a couple years ago because my partner got a job at the university here, so I haven't been able to host unfortunately. But definitely interested in meeting up with any couchsurfers passing through the city!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in the day, I used to be able to land triples in figure skating! (That's 3.5 rotations in the air... It's impressive to even myself!)

Sadly, those glory days are over :(
