CURRENT MISSION
Learn. Explore. Live. Dream
ABOUT ME
I am an Explorer who is passionate about traveling the world and discovering new ideas and experiences. Life is short and should be filled with adventures designed to teach, challenge, and excite.
I enjoy Connecting with different people from all walks of life. It's an awfully small world for 7 billion people.. We all share something in common yet we all have something unique to teach. Sometimes it's just a matter of opening yourself up to new situations and making those connections between people and ideas for wonderful things to happen.
The simple pleasures in life for me include good food and wine (I'm a foodie at heart!), great conversation with great people, and getting immersed in a fascinating book.
For the rest... you will have to meet me and find out for yourself!
PHILOSOPHY
Dream. And dare to achieve your dreams.
Stay grounded and remember your roots.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed a few times and am an experienced hoster, albeit outside of the CS network. I'm happy to answer any questions about Sydney or Melbourne (most of the best spots are hidden gems!). Currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa so am keen to buddy up with CS-ers in town who are keen to explore!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had two amazing, albeit completely different, couchsurfing experiences. My first was in NYC, and our lovely host Shawn was so accommodating, giving us keys to his place and even driving us to Brooklyn so we could check out the bars round town.
The second was in Rome, where my second host Alessandro showed a true Italian experience by inviting me out with his friends, and taking me to their local haunts.
I hope to have many more great CS experiences to come.

Music, Movies, and Books
Great books I've read recently:
1. "Four Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferriss - excellent read for anyone who wants to be financially free
2. "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey - eye opener with great life tips!
Not a movie, but Breaking Bad was pure genius. RIP Walter White.
Music preference depends on what mood I'm in.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Beach skydiving on the Australian east coast.
Seeing the sun set over a snowy Grand Canyon.
Camping with the dingoes on Fraser Island.
Having a traditional Estonian feast complete with a side of Bear.
Trekking to the top of Macchu Picchu.
4x4 road trip in Africa and safaris where lions and cheetahs roamed just outside our car.
Scuba diving in Mozambique.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can Teach you English or Vietnamese and impart my local knowledge of Australia e.g. where to go, things to do/see, etc.
I'm open to Learning anything you would like to teach me. However I'm particularly keen to improve my cooking skills and learn new languages, especially take my Japanese to the next level.
I looking forward to Sharing a new adventure with you, or simply sharing our ideas on life, the world, and new business opportunities over a good meal with a beverage or two.
