About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Every day you walk out your front door is a day you could meet someone who will change your life (sappy, but also sometimes the only thing that gets me up and moving).

ABOUT ME

My housemate told me only to type AWESOME, over and over again.

PHILOSOPHY

Head First.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only surfed. I hope one day (when I am more settled) to be able to host surfers and show them my city the way it is mean't to be seen; and give back to the couch surfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the Spring of 2013 I drove across the country and couch surfed the entire way. It was the best travel experience I have ever had, and I cannot wait to do it again.

When I am fully settled back in Los Angeles, I will definitely host to pay back the community. Plus, I love showing people LA; it's a hard city to get to know and most people only go to the tourist traps, they don't know there are million other little worlds out there!

Interests

Farming, biking, dancing and singing (though not always well), cooking, screaming, laughing, reading, watching, hiking, long road trips, spirit animals, hot drinks, long talks, cozy nights in, wild nights out, drag shows, dive bars, hanging out in sweat pants, dressing up in crazy outfits, casual nudism, books on the beach, learning new things, educational podcasts, breathing fresh air, baking, living, loving, experiencing everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books that stand the test of time, intelligent television (and trashy realty TV), campy movies and girl pop most of all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of amazing things and I hope to keep doing so. So far my most favorite adventure was driving across the country with one of my best friends. Everyone (including people we surfed with) were so nice and welcoming. I had long talks with people who had very different life experiences than me. The United States looks just like it does in the movies. Who knew? I highly recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to take a long road trip, do it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can always share what I know about gardening, and the global/local food system. I am also very interested in astrology and love to talk about it. I know a fair amount, but I am still learning, trying to get a more holistic view. If you are able to teach me, that would be amazing; or, if you want a brief tutorial on the basics and a short star chart, I would be more than happy to oblige.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Ireland, Mexico, Nicaragua, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
