About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to hear everyone's stories and open our home to fellow travellers.

ABOUT ME

I work, I save my money, I want to travel. I would like to make it to New Zealand next year and spend a few months travelling around. I was lucky enough to do quite a bit of travelling as I grew up...but now I have the travel bug and I can't seem to get it out of my system.
I am on my bike whenever I can and I'll play any sport in the summer. We spend a lot of time patio dwelling, rafting, playing softball, and golfing as much as possible! The winter is spent mostly indoors, or snowboarding whenever I can.
I grew up with a HUGE family, so I am no stranger to sharing living space. When we all get together every summer, most of the 22 cousins sleep on any space we can find, we call it the orphanage. Don't be surprised if I try to drag you to a family bbq ;)
Mostly I am a person who is open to new experiences, meeting new people, making friends and just being happy in general.

PHILOSOPHY

"You will never be younger than today"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate and I would like to open our home to travelers and hopefully have the opportunity to have others do the same for us when we decide to take off for a while.

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to most things, but I don't like heavy, crazy, screaming death metal or scary movies...okay I basically just hate The Exorcist.
I enjoy reading biographies and autobiographies, I find people are more interesting than stories. I can still get into a really great fiction story though, it basically just needs to grab my attention in the first chapter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

White water rafting in Bali was pretty amazing.
Typhoon Paka in Guam was pretty cool...scary, but no one got really hurt, so I stick with cool.
One time my big brother saved my life. We were sitting in some pools on top of a cliff and a giant wave came to take me away. My brother grabbed my leg right before I fell off of the cliff. Amazing, but I wish he didn't remember it everytime he needs something from me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, United States
