About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a sociable person yet a bit shy. When I'm not working, I like to hang out with my friends. We like to just take a stroll as much as having drinks. I am lucky to live in a multicultural city and to have access to different cultures. Since I teach French to immigrants and foreign students, I get to know those different cultures in a more personal way as well. Other than that, I like to go to the museum and in the summer I enjoy the many festivals, but mainly I spend a lot of time going to the movies and watching series.
I don't travel as much as I'd like to because it's more expensive from here. Because of that, I haven't really visited my own country... :-( I don't have long vacations either, so whenever I get the chance, I prefer to discover other countries. For me, traveling is more about living the moment and gathering memories rather than scratching places off a bucket list or accumulating tons of pictures. (I do like to take pictures; it's just not my purpose while travelling.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have a place of my own, so unfortunately I am not be able to offer you my couch. However, if you need help getting around in Montreal, or you would like to visit the city, I'd be glad to guide you. Montreal is an amazing and lively city worth the detour.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've got eclectic taste but I'd say I prefer rock (old and new). I like detective novels. As per movies, drama, thrillers and horror are my favorites, but I watch a bit of everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Missing my plane and ending up having a weird yet very fun stay in Cuzco.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook, although I'm far from being an expert. I can teach you basic mexican and quebecer (french canadian) food. If you're willing to learn or improve your French and/or Spanish, I can help you with that too. I've also traveled a little bit and sharing our travel experiences is always interesting too.
When it's my first time visiting a city, I unfortunately like to see the major tourist attractions, although I know how annoying this is for our host... On the other hand, having the chance to stay and spend time with the locals, is irreplaceable because you get to see and understand the city genuinely, from the inside so that's even better.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Chile, France, Germany, Guatemala, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
