ABOUT ME

Grew up in SA, but travelled and lived abroad a bit. Have also seen much of SA and, having just moved to back to Pretoria, am keen to see more of the north-eastern parts of the country.

What else? Apparently I have a dry sense of humour (so don't take everything I say too seriously!), love the outdoors, enjoy meeting new people, travelling (of course), have a thing for debates about politics, cultures, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A recent highlight - reaching the N shores of Lake Turkana in Kenya on a shoestring.

Another thing that stands out is the first sighting of a killer whale on subantarctic Marion Island - will never forget the moment!
