About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Fulfilling a 10+ year dream of visiting the Asian continent!

ABOUT ME

I feel like an octopus - expanding and exploring my interests by working to live, learn and love. Some current endeavors include leading study abroad programming, studying public health, Spanish medical interpreter, yoga teacher, international educator, women's rights advocacy, peacebuilding and conflict resolution

PHILOSOPHY

"You are entirely up to you." I'm dedicated to studying, researching and hoping to create curriculum about how conflict can be resolved by understanding feelings and experiencing emotions - applied to women who have experienced trauma and are ready to reconnect to their wild feminine and be their badass magical selves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lead study abroad trips so I'm not set up to host right now. I am surfing when I am not leading trips, maybe we can connect!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted friends and have surfed in Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently enthralled by the Mindbody Connection by John Sarno, MD and wanting to watch the movie Avatar, admittedly sucked into Game of Thrones and loved Stranger Things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught yoga to women from Central America who were undocumented political refugees and loved it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk about bodymind connections and experiences, would be happy to share yoga knowledge and lessons, and am excited to learn more about dreams, plants, water, ions, French, Italian, kinesiology, juice fasting, adventures and more!

What I Can Share with Hosts

yoga and mindfulness tips, stories, yummy cooking, listening, helping you get clear about your purpose
