Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION: Getting lost and finding something new
ABOUT ME: I fancy myself a decent photographer and writer, an undedicated musician and soccer player, an enthusiastic teacher and relatively fearless explorer.
I love traveling, I hate leaving my two dogs. I'm a night owl but always pleasantly surprised by sunrises.
PHILOSOPHY: Be brave and be kind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING: Wandering and hosting wanderers
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: I have only unofficially couch surfed thus far, mostly in East Africa, Madagascar and the US. I have met great people couchsurfing in South and Central America.

Books: A Sand County Almanac
Movies: Amores Perros, Beginners, There Will Be Blood (which roughly also correspond to my favorite directors + Terrence Malick)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ran from an erupting volcano in Indonesia (Stupid or amazing? Unsure)
Watched said erupting volcano blaze through the night and played in waters illuminated by bioluminescent phytoplankton
Howled to wolves in the North Woods
Built a greenhouse, started forest fires and cut down trees (for the National Park Service)
