About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eat my way through SF
ABOUT ME
I'd like it if you could teach me a thing or two about the world. Maybe I could do the same for you?
I'll be honest and say I am not great at small talk, but that just means more time for the really good stuff. I'm patient, easy going, and willing to take the time to just listen and observe in this too-fast-paced world. I really really love food and truly believe that the more you eat, the more you learn how to love. With any luck I will be cooking meals with many of you in the future.
PHILOSOPHY
It's the chance encounters that mean the most in the end.
"The unexamined life is not worth living." -Socrates
"But if you really learn how to pay attention, then you will know there are other options. It will actually be within your power to experience a crowded, hot, slow, consumer-hell type situation as not only meaningful but sacred, on fire with the same force that made the stars: love, fellowship, the mystical oneness of all things deep down. Not that the mystical stuff is necessarily true. The only thing that's capital-T true is that you get to decide how you're gonna try to see it." -David Foster Wallace
