I'm entering a new chapter of life after a long recovery from dengue fever that I contracted working in Bali, Indonesia. I'm on my journey to fulfill my life's purpose, which includes working on a native reservation in the next few months.

Intereses

Travel, of course. People. Argentine tango. Ecstatic dance & contact improv. Spontaneous healing and movement therapies. Desert herbalism. Mindfulness practices. Shamanism and spiritual schtuffs. Writing (for myself). My students.

I love soulful music, and live music - not stuck on a genre.

I rarely see films, but like creative, thinking ones.

At the time of writing, I'm reading a book on Kadampa Buddhism, and several on the Havasupai tribe of the Grand Canyon.

Also, mulling over those books I keep meaning to finish.

having my ear nibbled by a wild baby camel

being invited to eat fresh-caught crab and drink a homemade brew with Cambodian fishermen

visiting with the last remaining family in a traditional Omani village
