Overview
About Me
I was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and moved to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada when I was six years old. I took French immersion classes through grade six until my my family and I moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, U.S.A. (I was almost 12 years old).
I now live in Salt Lake City, UT. Come visit this beautiful mountain wonderland!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have loved all the places I've lived and explored. I had traveled to western Europe in high school and was itching to travel, so during my junior year of college I CouchSurfed in the Philippines and Taiwan and fell in love with the system! That was 10 years ago. I've since been to Uganda , Rwanda, Haiti and Mexico.
I love travelling and meeting people. I love the richness of the world's diversity and am thrilled to be back on CouchSurfing!
Interests
I like anything outdoors and active (volleyball, hiking, running, soccer, frisbee, camping....) and anything that brings me into contact with new people and lets me learn about new cultures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most memorable experience I've had in terms of it leaving a deep mark on my conscience was the genocide museum in Rwanda and Ntarama church. Extremely sobering but meaningful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I grew up in a country deeply influenced by its European roots and have since moved four times - both across country borders and across state lines. I would love to swap stories with whoever comes and stays with us!
