About Me

ABOUT ME

I really dislike describing myself, so, in order to complete this profile, I aksed my ex-girlfriend, who supposedly knows me very well after so many years of engagement, to write an honest but short description of myself for my couchsurfing profile and she promptly texted me
"You're an asshole". So this is it!

PHILOSOPHY

In my spiritual journey in search of a personal philosophy, for now I have only realized that the answer to the deepest questions of life is 'fuck if I know'.

WHY AM I HERE

To travel the world, meet cool people and listen to stories of distant places while we're drinking something together :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just share my spare room with some surfers and see how it goes.
If you come on friday or saturday I'm gonna invite you to join me and my friends for some nightclubbing, even if you visited the city the whole day. Sleep is for the weak!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ok, I'm gonna update this since I've been now doing CS for a year or something and it's pretty amazing. I only hosted cool and interesting people, no weirdos, no serial killers, no undercover KGB agents (I think) - I mean, I was pretty lucky after all.

I learned a lot of things about different cultures and countries that crashed the stereotypical view I had of them, and this is very good.

I found out that I really like to play the ukulele, that I cannot understand Australian accent, that in Dublin people get drunk by mixing beer and jagermeister shots (tried with a surfer, it was a bad idea don't do that), that midget in German is pronounced LILIPUTTANO (you gotta know italian to get this one, but trust me it's amazing ahahaah)
and that young people in Tokyo actually listen to this: https://youtu.be/kWoJLdXJt0E (make your own judgement, I don't want to influence you)

I also made friends with a couple of persons and I'm planning to go to their country to visit. So yes, I like this cs thing.

Interests

Everything that you know that's different from what we have here in Italy. Culture, food, local music and good stories mostly.

So if you don't want to eat together, drink and chat please don't even make me a request, if I wanted to just open the door to strangers and show them where the bed is and then have nothing to do with them I would have opened a B&B, not a CS account.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock & Roll, Bukowski and Tarantino during the day
House, Bukowski and David Lynch at night.

Bukowski is the only sure thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have you ever wondered how amazingly beautiful can something so simple as a newly blossomed flower be? No ok, that was bullshit, I really don't know what to write here

Teach, Learn, Share

Foooood!!

If you can teach me a new recipe, we'll cook the shit out of my kitchen and I'll teach you how to pair it with some good italian wine.

Also, it would be cool if you could teach me bad words in your language. Who knows, they might come in handy, sooner or later.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States
