ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Michiel

I am currently doing a PhD about Biodiversity and human respiratory health at KU Leuven (Belgium)
In my spare time i study Swedish and like to learn more about anything Nordic. I am not really an athlete but I like to be outdoors and go on adventures. On the other hand I enjoy being creative and get some culture (museums, performances,...)

I enjoy food but i like to eat sustainable, therefore my diet is mostly vegan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently sharing a house in Leuven where I certainly have the space to acomodate but not really the time nor the right atmosphere. However if you are looking for a place to stay you can send me a message.
I have been surfing and try to attend CS events now and then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled by train from Belgium to the North of Sweden stopping in Germany and Copenhagen on the way. I stayed on some lovely couches and met very interesting people. I love the CS app and how it allows for spontaneous meetups!

I like to watch YouTube.

BOOKS: everything from Jonas Jonasson, I am now trying to read more classic novels.
