About Me
➡️ CURRENT TRIP: November 2024 - March 2025 Venezuela and Galapagos Islands :)
Hey all,
my name is Michi, I`m originally from Austria. Since 2018 I have beein living in a beautiful little village in Switzerland.
Back in 2015 I started to travel the world for 2,5 years - alone. This trip changed my whole life totally. I became addicted to this adventurous lifestyle. Luckily I found a good compromise with my employer and now I am able to travel frequently.
I have a passion for discovering off-the-beaten-path places, nature and the great outdoors.
During all my trips I met the most hospitable and friendly people ever, especially through couchsurfing. I really love the spirit of this platform and hope to be able to make more and more friends all over the world.
ABOUT ME:
I would describe myself as adventurous, spontaneous, funny and easy going.
I am all about low-budget adventures, nature and mountains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love it to meet new people and to see different ways of living. I´m very interested in the local life of the different countries and not just to see the touristic places. Another thing I love is food and trying new dishes from other countries ;)
It´s also a pleasure for me to host people from all over the world, spend time with them and learn about their culture.
So, that´s the reason why I´m here!!

Teach, Learn, Share
You can learn from everybody! I´m very interested in many things, especially other cultures and nature.
I can teach you German and I´m also very interested in other languages. And I have to improve my English and Spanish!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some German.
Beside that I can show you amazing hikes in the region where I live.
In my home you will have a simple couch/mattress for sleeping and you can take showers. You can also use my kitchen. If I'm free it would be a pleasure for me to show you around or go hiking together. We have amazing mountains here.
