My name is Mick and my flatmate and best friend is Nick. I am 22 and Nick is 23. We are both French, out going people. We were travelling a lot together and now we are crashing in Lyon for our last year as students.

We are two funny guys, enjoying life. We are very easy people. Welcome into our profile !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would be happy to welcome some travelers. We went in Australia during a long trip of 8 months. We know what traveling is so we would be happy to help some people ! We are planing next year to leave France for Canada.

What we are really looking for ? We really enjoyed to meet new people during our trip in Australia. It's really something to share you life with strangers (sharing is caring).

Interests

As I said we are out-going people so we love pretty much everything. We are really curious and open minded. We think that sharing an experience with someone is a way to learn more about life, culture, stuff we would not know.

So for my part (Mick). I really love music. It's a part of my life. I work in a association which make parties in Brittany (the part of France where I come from). I love Brittany, it's a beautiful place. Very peaceful, with large beach on the coast and beautiful landscape everywhere. I practiced handball during 11 years and i am still practicing surf when I am back home. I am a graphiste as well. I love humor, cinema and travels. So that's pretty much who I am and what I like. My father was a pilote so I traveled a lot when i was a child. He even met my mother in China. So travels is an important part of my life. My dad always told me that travels are making you bigger than you would ever be by staying in one spot.

So for my part (Nick). Obviously I love travels. I have been pretty lucky during my life because I went to Ireland for a year, Australia for almost a year too, Brazil few times, Greece and all around Europe. I am planing to work in the events domain. I also like all kind of music, cinema and sports. Allez Paris ! I have been practicing football during my entire childhood and now I try to keep my body in one part. I come from Paris and I grew up in a kind of farm with a lot of animals. I do like them. So if you are a hunter, fuck you dearly. I also love to watch TV shows, I am currently watching Mr Robot and for us it's probably one of the best good way to question yourself about society, would you agree ?

As actor we love Robert Downey Junior, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Keanu Reeves, Liam Neeson, Edward Norton, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, John Travolta, Brian Cranston, Aaron Paul (breaking bad, bitch), Kevin Spacey, Matt Damon, Russell Crowe, Stephen Hopkins, and many others.

Some favs : Inception, Fight Club, Snatch, Batman, Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street, Will Hunting, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards, Django, A Beautiful Mind, Forrest Gump, The Departed, American History X and many others !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our trip in Australia together. Every day was a different experience. It made us more mature and better people. That's probably the most amazing thing we did together.

Nick jumped into the bay of Sydney from the Opera House (sharks weren't far)
We spend 5 months in an amazing backpacker, meeting news people every day and then with a van we traveled around the Gold Coast (surf, parties, enjoying our life). We also did wild camping in the Blues Mountains. It was amazing.
