About Me

Student, 22 years old, loves to travel, meet new people, explore cultures. Currently living in a nice city in the northern part of holland called Groningen. I love traveling by hitchhiking! The people you meet the beautiful scenery you see and all the adventures you make! I think the best way to explore a country is by hitchhiking since you meet locals and other adventures people. So that’s what me and my best friend (Zenthe) are doing this year! We hope we can use couchsurfing to meet more interesting people who we can share our story with and listen to theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's the best place to find awesome people who know the places not known by most other tourists.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like to read books about self development and the things that I am interested in at that moment. (My interests sometimes changes really fast). But listening to stories I love even more. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to discover new stories with the nice feature of being able to ask questions.
For movies I always like the one with a deeper meaning behind them and those who let you think about the subject more clear.
For music I like every thing with a nice beat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finding out that you don’t need much to experience a great adventure. Last year I hitchhiked through the USA and it was amazing. The best holiday so far. It thought me a lot of lessons and even gave me some close friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to learn new cultures, teach people about my culture and see the world before I'm old.
Learn people some words of my funny language (Dutch)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couch, breakfast and a nice tour of the neighbourhood.
If you want I can cook some delicious 'Hollandse pot' (Dutch meal) for you. I really like to taste the meals of other countries. They often inspire me to make my own creations more tasty :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
