About Me

CURRENT MISSION

try to be more involved here!

ABOUT ME

have worked on trail crews here in the state of ca. for the last little while. north coast redwoods, joshua tree, up in the sierra nevada, down in big sur, all over really. it is/ was kindof a lifestyle, if only glamorous in a very obscure way, ha. tho work isnt sposed to be a defining feature of someones life, i cant say ive had one distinct passion that ive followed. im diffuse. i goof around a lot. i take myself too seriously. im distrustful of intentionality but always try to build narratives. idk..

PHILOSOPHY

i'd like to have a big complete picture but for now im just working with what i have and making sense of it all a day at a time. ("that doesnt make any sense, but you know what i mean!")

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

aw man awestruck moments... honest they were probably pretty bland to an observer. to me tho if everything was lined for me to feel that way- then i suppose theyve happened in the most unusual places- the parking lots and fields and living rooms. and involved i guess either some spooky coincidence or just the feeling of awestruckedness for no good reason and prolly some understanding, or relationship, or sense of place and clarity and direction.

Teach, Learn, Share

rock work. tree work. engine maintenance. bridge construction. pulley systems. tool rehandling, stuff like that.
