ABOUT ME

I'm a retired carpet fitter from my own business which I ran successfully for 40 years.
I am a laid back sort of person, good listener, love to meet new and different people all the time from whom I can learn.
My freetime, especially holidays are very important to me. I am not especially materialistic, preferring experiences such as good food and drink.
I believe we live a better life in the west than we did when I grew up, but it depends on what you want in life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always used to sleep on the couch when I used to fish in Cambridge in a lodge we stayed at. Rustic, simple but great fun, apart from getting cold feet.
