I and Sanna are respectively from France and Finland. We both traveled before we met in 2014 but since that day, we have been travelling together in many different countries.

We are new on couchsurfing community but we have been part of HelpX community for couple of years staying and working with hosts from Australia and new zeland.

We are now planning our new long trip starting July 2018.

Ou journey will take us from Moscow to lake Baikal by tran Siberian, with hopefully some nice stops on the way.
We'll stay on Olkhon Island for a while as volunteer before heading to Mongolia where we will be living with nomads and helpin with everyday tasks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As part of our trip, we would love to have the chance of meeting people along our trans Siberian journey and learn their way of living.

At home, we both like cooking and we always try to finf new food, new receipes either healthy or tasty :)
Also, we thought it would be a rewarding experiencerywhen stayng with local to exchange receipes from our respective countries and why not cook for each other :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working Holiday Visas in Australia and new Zealand 2010 & 2015).

Cycling around Puglia in Italy for 4 weeks (summer 2017).

Witnessing a magnetic storm in Finnish Lapland in 2013.

Traveling more than 20000km by land between Moscow and SE Asia (2018).

Hiking and camping on a non renovated part of the great wall of China (2018).

Why not spend an evening learning a recipe from our host country, wouldn't it be the best kind of souvenir to bring back home :)
