My name is Michael (Mick, Mike, Mikey, Micky, or any other variation you can think of.) I am an English guy currently on a travelling expedition around South and Central America with the hope of continuing north to Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent a year travelling South and Central America as well as a couple of months in Canada, most of which was spent in hostels. I wasn't aware of couchsurfing until it was too late but think it's an amazing way of getting to know local people and cities.

Interests

I am a big football (soccer) fan, playing it pretty much every week since I was 10.

I am a travelling addict. I love exploring new places, learning about new cultures and making new friends along the way.

I am a keen photographer. My favourite subject to shoot is animals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music - Rock (especially 70's and 80's Brit rock/punk eg. Rolling Stones, The Who, The Clash etc.)
More recently I've been listening to Synthwave and electro synth.

My all time favourite film is Leon The Professional. I like suspense and thriller films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what other people think is amazing but I've done several bungee jumps, handglided over Rio De Janeiro and eaten 60 McDonald's nuggets in one sitting. Take your pick.

I am currently learning Spanish so any help with that would be amazing.

I don't really know what I could teach you unless you want to learn movie or TV lines and quotes. I have a huge knowledge bank of those.
