My COUCHSURFING HISTORY, IN REVERSE CHRON...

It's now early July, 2013, and will soon be embarking on a US driving trip stretching from S. Florida, up the coast as far as about Charleston, then NW eventually ending up in Minneapolis for my niece's Aug 3rd wedding. Am curious to see what CS friends I meet and make along the way ...

Currently in the middle of enjoying my first 'couch' at my new friend, Sadik's home, in Ankara, Turkey. Going great. Have met 4 or 5 CSers along the way, and have messaged with another dozen or so. Hope to meet a few more CS friends in Ankara and Istanbul before flying to Goa, India, next week (today is Jan. 11, 2011). Just messaged 3, 4 people in Goa who I look forward to meeting...

I just heard of and joined CS two days ago, on 28 Nov. 2010. Have been in Greece -- mostly in Oia on Santorini -- for five months. Now am moving along to Marmaris, Turkey, via ferry for a month-&-a-half, then on to India for a few months, then we'll see from there (went to Thailand for 1.5 mos., Bangkok, Chiang Mai, but mostly Pai in the N. mountains -- energy center!). I have regularly had guests in my home in Florida over the past few years and love playing host. Now, as I am traveling, I'm curious and psyched to see how CS works. Hope to meet some very fine people very soon...

Intereses

All that makes for optimum health and wellness in body mind and soul; new at yin yoga (huge value!); fitness; athletics; music (listening & playing; all genres, but has to be good [I decide :)]; fav now is Euro & internt'l rhythm. Been percussionist & sung in bands); all the arts; everything outdoors; sailing (all sized boats, from windsurfers on up); reading; movies; chillin'; humor; open honest real people.

And, 2) Bringing people together as One. Developed in me is an ability now to with great facility and virtually immediately orchestrate what I call 'Circle Of One.'
