About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See and learn about as many places and cultures as I possibly can! I always want to take the back road when travelling so I can get to understand the area better and avoid tourist traps as much as possible. I want to see how locals live and explore their environment.
ABOUT ME
I am an adventurous, spontaneous and eccentric person who will try anything once, especially unconventionally. I am passionate about learning about the world. I can be social with many different types of people and love meeting new people. Nothing about me is ordinary but because of that I have lots of memorable travels - and that is largely in part due to the new friends I make throughout my journey.
PHILOSOPHY
If you're not living on the edge you are taking up too much space!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to learn about a place is to get to know local people. Staying with people who are familiar with the culture and history of a city will make for much a more interesting trip than staying at a hostel with other travelers.
Interests
I LOVE history and archaelogy and love to learn about different cultures. My life is very social, so it's great because I get the opportunity to meet so many different people from all over the world.
I'm very athletic and my favourite sport is without a doubt basketball. I also love to hike because it combines being active with exploring nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love my Southern Rock - Lynyrd Skynard, Jethro Tull, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Allman Brothers.
If there's a good melody and big bass I'll be dancing away!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been incredibly fortunate to see a lot in this world but one amazing discovery I have is when I was conducting an archaeological excavation in the jungle of Belize in Central America. I was in a chiltoon (underground storage pit) where I discovered small fragments of human bone. This was a very rare find and this discovery was what solidified my love for archaeology.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk your ear off about history, especially Latin American cultures.
I really would love to improve my Spanish so if your English is not that strong I would still love to meet. I will likewise help you improve your English!
