About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!
I'm Micol from Italy! I'm studying environmental engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin, in northern Italy. I'm a really easygoing person, who loves to visit big cities as well as to spend days in the mountains hiking and climbing. I've spent the 4th year of high-school in Chile and since then i've tried to travel around as much as i could. Until now i've been mostly in Europe, when i'll finish the University i'm hoping to have enough time to get a little farer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lots of friends of mine told me about couchsurfing, i got curious and here i am!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last year we've hosted some couchsurfers in Turin, and this summer i've been hosted in Beograd and in Dubrovnik while travelling around balkans with a couple of friends! both have been really good experiences!

Interests

Well, obviously i love to travel! when i get in a different country one of the things i do the most is to try all kinds of food as possible!
A part of that i love to read, Russian literature is one of my favorite (but just in winter time, i can't get into it when it's 40 degrees outside.. ;) ), love to listen to music (it would take me way too much time to write all kinds of music i like), and to take photos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer i've been in Barcelona painting flats in Barrì Gotic, one of the most poor neighborhoods in Catalonia's capital city. It's been a really nice experience cause i had the chance to do something useful and also to meet some great people from all over the world.
One of the most stupid and awesome things i've done was to get lost in Patagonia with a friend, we've seen amazing landscapes and thought that we would have freeze to death. Luckily some fisher eventually found us!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom
