About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have a good time, all the time.

ABOUT ME

I have a passion for learning, doing, and mastering new things, although I'm still working on that last part :) I'm a liberal who believes in helping others if you can and making the world (not just the country!) a better place. I haven't done a lot of traveling yet, but I am doing my best to remedy that! That means I'll be in your neck of the woods soon and I hope we'll both come away from our encounter the better for it.

NOTE: If you have no Friends or References, or if your profile isn't reasonably filled out, I most likely won't respond. I get a lot of requests and have to filter somehow, so if you haven't put some time into establishing yourself on the site, that makes it easy for me :) To anyone else I don't respond to: I'll sometimes get 5 requests in a day, I can only write so many rejections before I run out of lead, nothing personal!

Everything below is years out-of-date now, I've been lazy about keeping them updated as I grow and change :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands are probably U2, Calexico, Sigur Ros, Muse, The Decemberists, and oh so many more.

Tons of movies but I'll say The Princess Bride and Star Wars.

Books? The Brothers K, Ender's Game, Great Expectations, Youth In Revolt, and Animal Farm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to solve a rubik's cube, do a kick up, submit someone with brazilian jiu jitsu, pick a lock, memorize a deck of cards, dance salsa, waltz or tango (poorly), and any number of other useful and not so useful skills :)

I would like to learn other languages, or at least as much as you can teach me in a day or two. If you could teach me how to do a backflip I'd be eternally grateful :)
