About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live my life according to my principles and priorities.

ABOUT ME

My general characteristic is that I like to meet, get to know new people and I desire to have many real friends. I believe that we meet friends in our lifes, not make them :) I’m very helpful, trustful and honest. I have achieved self-discipline across my life with many, very different results. I’ve got a strong personality which luckily I demonstrate in a friendly way. I feel comfortable with many kinds of people. I like to know what others think about me and I really appreciate criticism. I have an ability to see the problem in general perspective and to find solutions for it. I also care about other people’s feelings. If some topic will touch me, I may show my feelings in a sensitive way.

PHILOSOPHY

I love Mother Nature and planet Earth. Life on our planet is the only, real miracle which we know as a fact. Her generosity gave as possibility and environment to develop an incredible Brain. Maybe as a Loving mother she made a mistake and gave us all the best, when our race was still too young to appreciate it. Mentally to close to distant relatives with primitive, survival instincts which in combination with high intelligence created Planets most dangerous mind, mind which have created many questions. (…) For me the most important question at the moment is: How can I help my planet from being completely devastated? This is my philosophia,"love of wisdom".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Generally I’m looking for people to travel with for skiing, sailing, hiking or beach holidays. I’m not usually looking for a place to sleep over. It doesn’t matter where you are more than with whose company you are.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Generally I’ve always been using hotels. But getting to know local people was always a must for me. And most of those experiences were positive and precious. Here in London I have hosted already a lot of people. Once I started I couldn't stop because I had such a great groups especially from Canada and USA. Of course not everyone is perfect (especially
me; ) I had groups of people with whom I really didn't have any sort of connection and our conversations were simply artificial and I couldn't feel the real CS spirit in them. Some people didn't even bother to leave references.. But that will not effect my CS spirit as it is known for long now, that some people are cutting of the branch on which they are sitting on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love searching, exploring and discovering true masterpieces of music which are making only something around 5% of all recorded melody on the planet. I especially like Afro-Cuban Jazz like: Roberto Fonseca – Roforofo Fight, Mami, Akokan, Temperamento,.. a track called ‘’Ican’’ recorded live in Miami for example. I like as well: Latin; Funky; New Orleans; Jazz, Mambo, Boogie, Cha-cha. Also: 70’s; 80’s; 90’s Dance, POP, HIP-HOP and Reggae classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for 4 years in the wooden house, in the forest as a pioneer in that place. Without TV, with 114 cooking books, radio, 2 dogs, fireplace, pure water and extra-large windows.
I’ve done a ‘’Gibbon flight’’ (3 hour cable ride on the top of canopy’s) in the Chiang Mai’s Jungle.
Went to Jazz Club La Zorra Y El Cuervo in Havana and had a long conversation with Roberto Fonseca.
