About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to travel across the U.S. I am planning a fairly large excursion early next year and am completely psyched at the mere idea of it!!
ABOUT ME
I am very shy around people I don't know well. Those who do know me well however know that I am goofy and bubbly. I love many different things ranging from reading, to hiking, to watching movies (although sitting in front of a T.V. for too long makes me feel brain dead), to attempting to play new instruments and subsequently becoming embarrassed when I don't play them well. I enjoy conversations with people one on one. I don't mind being in situations with multiple people, I am just less likely to speak up because I revert to listening and enjoying learning from what is being said.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life for experiences. I want to see and feel things and hopefully make some people smile along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently only available to meet fellow couch surfers who are in the area or visiting. In the near future I look forward to surfing and someday being able to offer my couch as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not yet participated in anything related to couchsurfing but hope that changes soon.
Interests
I love music, dance, art and meeting new people I can learn from. I am absolutely in love with language and culture and do enjoy a good book. I tend to spend my spare time engaged in music and learning.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fantasy junkie, I love Pan's Labyrinth, Hook, Alice in Wonderland and fairy tales. Basically anything that gets my imagination running wild. I also love books that discuss either subtly or overtly sexuality (LGBTQ, gender identity, etc...), political climate, and other culture/ human histories we tend to overlook.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Picking things that have made me awestruck is a little hard but I would have to say that sleeping under the skyscrapers in the middle of the city and driving out in the middle of the night to the country to watch a meteor shower both stand out to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am fairly good at making hemp bracelets, knitting, I have some camping knowledge, and am good with singing. I'm sure there is a number of things that I could potentially share my knowledge of because I'm always looking for new things to learn. If I think of any or if you want to know if I can do something in particular ask and maybe we can find out how and learn it together. :)
