Overview
About Me
I'm a musician living in New York City, recently returned from a trip through Europe (summer 2017). I'm friendly, easygoing, open-minded and a decent human. Joined couchsurfing to use during my summer travels, but am hoping to continue using it while in New York in order to meet people and keep my traveling spirit alive. I like to be inspired!
Unfortunately I cannot host, as my apartment is tiny and shared with roommates.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I admit having a place to stay on a budget is a great perk. Meeting new people around the world, sharing experiences, and hearing about their lives and being inspired is priceless. I hope you feel the same way! I'm still quite new to CS (didn't start using it until June 2017) but I've already had a handful of unforgettable experiences.
Interests
Recently I've been into yoga and salsa dancing. I'm interested in most things, and am up for anything.
- salsa dancing
- reading
- traveling
- music
- live music
- learning languages
- meeting new people
Music, Movies, and Books
I am a classical musician so am always surrounded by music. I also play some Irish trad, and also with an awesome band in NYC. Would be down to catch some cool concerts!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just finished my first solo-trip around Western Europe for three months. It's topped everything I've ever done in my life.
I've also played in Carnegie hall ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I work as a private violin teacher. I'm an avid learner and am always looking for new experiences to broaden my horizons. I love sharing life stories!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can play some music for you :) I'm fluent in Japanese so can teach you. I can be your buddy if you like to go out, explore, chill in the park, re-discover your city, etc.
I'm not the best chef, but I'm happy to do the eating :D
