About Me

Hi! I’m Midushi and I love to travel. The travel bug bit me when I went to Italy for an exchange program 7 years back. I was 20 and I was completely clueless and friendless there so I started traveling on my own. Since then my curiosity has only increased and all I want to do is explore more places.

I don’t hate my work or anything. In fact I love what I do; I’m an industrial designer. So I take up projects in different cities and try to study in different countries so that I can travel and work simultaneously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well its been a while since I've been trying to thinking of couch-surfing but never had the chance. Just recently I've been meeting a lot of people appreciating its pros. The best way to learn about a culture is by spending time with the locals and couchsurfing exactly offers the same!

Interests

I love trying and learning new things. Just recently I started learning how to surf and attempting to learn how to play Violin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

According to me i've done lots of amazing (crazy) stuff!

I've travelled to about 20 countries and half of them just on my own. Have driven to France by mistake without my passport!

Went Scuba Diving in the Great Barrier Reef and swam with sharks and turtles!

And after gaining a bit of experience in travel I just recently started my Travel Blog called " A Wayfarer's Affair."

Teach, Learn, Share

Coming from a creative background I'd love to engage with my host in building functional or conceptual artwork at home. Some materials, paints, adhesives is all we need! Its not only a stress buster but also acts like therapy...makes one feel really happy.

I've learned Kathak (Classical Indian Dance Form) for almost 10 years and would love to teach the basics. Or why not groove to some Bollywood moves together?

I can cook some Indian meals as I am a self-claimed master chef :P

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Bhutan, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Macao, Malaysia, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
