ABOUT ME

I survived raising four daughters, and yet they still love me! I've traveled several countries, work full time for the University, have had my own consulting business for 20 years and will seek political office in 2014. I've spent sub-zero nights on "The Whale" at the National Training Center in CA, Bayou hopped in LA, visited 44 of the states in the U.S., and worked at more occupations than I care to remember. Passionate about reading, don't watch TV (sorry no cable at this address) get along with all animals and most people!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is really IMPORTANT! I try to accommodate all who make requests, but can rarely, if ever, respond to "Last Minute" requests. I have meetings scheduled almost every night of the week and leave for my campus office at 7:30 M-F. If I don't have an arrival notice three to four days in advance chances are high that I'm not going to be home to make the space available.

Aside from the disclaimer...

This really isn't much different than welcoming traveling relatives, of which I have hundreds, other than the initial "can I trust you" meeting. Always a place to sleep and shower, but not always time to entertain. I have animals (a dog and a cat) so be prepared to meet them. Both are gentle souls.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Informally, I've slept on enough floors and couches to be an expert. A great way to return the favor.
